What it's all about

"

Shelly is an excellent pole dance instructor. she throws in all kinds of practical tips and is extremely encouraging. she is great about teaching the mechanics of the pole moves, telling you about hand placement for pole spins, balance and momentum, as well as more esoteric advice such as ways to sex up your pole dancing performance with hair tosses and sultry looks.
The class is small enough that you feel like you're getting plenty of personal attention and feedback. it's a great value for the price. you'll definitely learn how to perform a number of pole tricks in just a few weeks. love it!

I really enjoy taking Shelly's pole dance class ! I think every woman wants to be sexy, and pole dancing definitely allows us to be sexy. More than being sexy, it is an amazing work out. Since I started pole dancing with Shelly, my upper body has  strengthened amazingly. Her pole dancing style is sexy, graceful, liberating, and a great work out."

"I was dragged into a pole dancing class by a friend, but I immediately felt comfortable and safe in Shelly's class.  She teaches women of all different sizes and ages to celebrate and explore their sensual, seductive, sexy selves on and around a pole.  I'm so happy to be pole dancing!"

Shelly is an excellent instructor. I love to dance but I have  A  LOT of trouble with choreography. It takes me a long time to learn combinations and steps. Shelly is able to break things down in various ways so that everyone including the dance-challenged like myself can learn. Her classes are a lot of fun because instead of stressing about not getting the steps, I can work on making it look good which feels great!!!"

Shelly began formal training as a dancer in 1987 performed professionally until 2002. She has been teaching dance and fitness for over a decade and  is a certified fitness and Pilates trainer.  She got her start in pole dancing while studying for her bachelor of arts degree at San Jose State University.  Working as an exotic dancer she was impressed by some of the pole dance moves a few of the dancers could do, the way they slinked across the floor, and just the way they could make a spectator's jaw drop.  Since those years she has watched pole dancing eeck its way  into the mainstream of dance and fitness thanks to pole dancing pioneers such as Pantera, Bobbi (of Bobbi's Pole Studio Australia), KT Coates,  Fawnia Mondey, and the ladies at Pole Addiction, Jessica and Kari.  Her most inspiring performances of the art form can be found on you tube ...

"Pole dancing  is a  feminine phenomenon,  that brings women of all shapes, sizes, and walks of life together. Students easily get hooked on it because it's an amazing workout that's really fun. Where else can you go to workout and also explore  and express your girl-self, your woman-self, and your inner vixen  in a supportive environment?  You can always find new ways to challenge your pole dancing skills if you want, or you can just put on a song and go, either way, it's a fantastic way to fitness and self-expression.  Pole dancing is all about you and that's why women love it - it doesn't have to be done with or for anyone else, but that can be fun too.
